Hotel Vernon

This was a nice hotel, especially for the money. If I ever need to stay the night in Vernon, TX again, I’d definitely stay here. Not fancy or anything, but it was a good price, room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

After a series of less than ideal hotels on our trip, Hotel Vernon was a refreshing experience. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had 2 queen beds and each mattress had a different firmness so you may want to test which you prefer. Whether you're just passing by or spending a few nights here, this is a great little motel for an affordable price.

Had an excellent stay here. Rooms were great, awesome management and employees. Vernon is peaceful. There are some stray kitties and cats nearby, an actual family. There is an automatic water fountain there for them + 2 food bowls (green & blue). Please feed and water them during your stay if you'd like, they were a great addition to see! 10/10

Needed a place to stay for our revival meetings. Hotel Vernon was a great choice! The rooms were tidy and clean. We got the double queen with a sofa and it was very spacious and comfortable. They also provide free continental breakfast. The customer service is great and they care about their customers! We will be back next time we come to town.

Easy check in and check out. Ruth was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, respectful employee. Easy access off 287 South. The room was clean. Plenty of hot water and pressure to shower. It's not a five star motel but clean and comfortable for a stay when passing through.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Vernon Hotel. This place has been perfect for my stay. As someone who lives month-to-month on the road for work, I’ve stayed in just about every hotel around Childress, Vernon, and Quanah—and most of them take advantage of the fact that you don’t have many options. Rates get jacked up, service drops off, and you’re lucky to get the bare minimum. That is not the case here. From the office management to the people you meet walking through the parking lot, everyone is respectful, welcoming, and professional. The staff in the office are amazing and genuinely helpful—something you don’t see often anymore. The environment here is calm and safe: no loud noise at night, no shady business in the parking lot, and no drama. Most of the people staying here are construction workers and management personnel, which says a lot about the atmosphere. On top of that, this is the lowest-rate place I’ve found with the best service by far. The rooms are immaculate—clean, well-kept, and comfortable. You can tell they take pride in the property. I could say a lot more, but honestly, if you’re on the road and need a solid, clean, affordable place to stay in Vernon, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. I highly recommend it.

This isn't our normal hotel but we couldn't be happier with our choice. We arrived late at night after a very long day and Jasmine at the front desk was awesome! The room was shockingly large and wonderfully clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and the shower was nice and hot.

Yogi at the front desk was super helpful! Was happy to grab a few breakfast things 46 minutes after breakfast was closed. Nice room, would stay here again.
